At that point the default value will change from “false” to “true” and from that moment on, at any Firefox shutdown, a copy of the bookmarks will be saved within the old bookmarks.html file ready to use once again. Once accessed the browser configuration screen you need to search for the preference, right click on it and select Toggle. If such a change is normally transparent to the user’s eyes, in some cases one could have the need to restore the old functionality of the bookmarks file next to the all-inclusive archive contained in places.sqlite.
